Practical information and accessibility
Africa Day 2025 takes place on Saturday, 15 November from 10:00 am at Pakhuis de Zwijger, Piet Heinkade 179, Amsterdam.
Pakhuis de Zwijger is easily accessible. It is about a 10–15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. From the station, you can also take tram 26 toward IJburg and get off at the Kattenburgerstraat stop. Alternatively, you can take bus 43 toward Borneo Eiland and get off at the Jan Schaeferbrug stop. Coming by car? Pakhuis de Zwijger is less than five minutes from the Amsterdam A10 Ring North (exit S116) and the Piet Hein Tunnel (exit S114 Zeeburg/Artis). You can park in nearby parking garages. There are also parking spaces for people with a disabled parking card close to Pakhuis de Zwijger, located at Vriesseveem 4 and Withoedenveem 16.
Pakhuis de Zwijger is accessible for wheelchair users and persons with disabilities. There are facilities throughout the building for accessibility.
